Wildland Forestry & Environmental, Inc is dedicated to helping land stewards realize their goals in managing, maintaining, and shaping their land to meet their objectives while keeping ecological balances on every inch.

The company is built around landowner needs across North Carolina and Virginia who desire to balance land usage with conservation efforts. We offer a full range of land and forest management practices, and additionally provide professional services that can often be hard to find, such as: prescribed burning, native warm season grass establishment and maintenance, upland hardwood stand improvement, and wildlife habitat management. Our passion for these practices runs deep, so you can be assured that we don't recommend anything that we wouldn't do on our own land.

Certifications and Affiliations

All registered foresters in NC must complete at least 10 hours of continuing education annually in order to maintain their registration. Many private foresters also are listed as members of the Society of American Foresters (SAF) and the Association of Consulting Foresters (ACF). These organizations have fairly expensive membership fees and offer little to the practical forester in terms of education or tools to help landowners. For this reason, WFE has decided that affiliations with other conservation organizations are far more beneficial in terms of continued education and the financial savings mean lower fees charged to clients. Our Service Area
Though the piedmont of NC and VA serves as the "primary base" of operations, WFE is a versatile business that has no boundaries. Management assistance has been utilized as far north as New Jersey and west to the flatlands of Tennessee. Our clients live locally or may live as far away as coastal California.
